Well, three more weeks!
For the past month or so they have been tearing down another old housing unit. A coworker of mine, Ross, used to live in this one so I thought I would post some pictures taken throughout the month.
They have been tearing some of these old housing units down because they have been building all these really nice permanent housing units. Only two to a room also. UNFORTUNATLY they will be only for other NATO countries… not for US personal. I donno why the US personal always get the short end of the stick on this base even though the US pays for most of everything. I hear the rumor is that we want to ‘look good’ to the other countries or something… meh… So while they get awesome new housing we US personal have to deal with showers with half the floor rotting out from under you. Like take a look at this picture I took a bit ago.
Notice the date… yah… apparently a date from BEFORE I even got here till sometime after now is “ASAP”… Lovely treatment from our brave men and woman coming over here…
